Vasnat Spa Resort

In a delightful setting in beautifully lush landscaped gardens, with the Helderberg Mountains as a backdrop and views over False Bay, the recently opened Vasnat Spa Resort is a naturist retreat right in the heart of the Western Cape of South Africa. Personally managed by its proprietors it promises a high standard of facilities and service and a relaxed atmosphere.

Location

Vasnat Spa Resort is located above the residential town of Somerset West in the south east of the Western Cape Winelands, close to Stellenbosch and with Cape Town a 35 minute drive away. There are numerous supermarkets, shops and restaurants in the town as well as the Somerset West Mall. There is an array of sights and attractions in the area that can be discovered by hiring a car or booking a private tour.

The Beach

Weather permitting, guests are expected to be nude. The pool and spa facilities are strictly nude. Some guests dress to use the dining room but the bar, veranda and braai area are all nude areas. Situated just south of Llandudno with the magnificent Twelve Apostles as a backdrop, Sandy Bay naturist beach has beautiful white sand and cold turquoise waters with spectacular surf if the conditions are right. It’s a 15-20 minute flat walk from the parking facilities to the naturist beach.

Naturism at Vasnat Spa Resort

Nudity is normal within the whole of the complex, weather permitting. The pool and spa facilities are strictly nude, and guests may be nude at the bar, veranda and Braai area if they wish.

Food & Drink

Breakfast is served continental style with a hot option, snacks and drinks are available at the lounge bar and on the poolside veranda. In the evenings delicious cuisine, using the freshest locally sourced ingredients accompanied by a good selection of local wines, can be enjoyed in the elegant dining room.

Facilities

Facilities include a small outdoor swimming pool nestling in the gardens and surrounded by a sun terrace and loungers for relaxing. The brand new spa boasts two hot tubs, jet spa pool, sauna, steam room, mountain spring showers and a massage room. There is a reception in the main building and also a car park with a separate gated entrance.

Activities

Days can be as lazy or as busy as guests prefer. Do a few laps in the pool, relax and soak up the sunshine, indulge in the spa, or for those wishing to get out and about the area offers a vast range of sights and attractions.

Entertainment

The traditional naked Braai evening, on the purpose built Braai deck with its exquisite views of False Bay, is the perfect end to the day.
