Hedonism III

Hedonism (the pursuit of pleasure as a way of life) is the ultimate place for self-indulgent adults. Free spirits from around the world are attracted to Hedo’s liberal lifestyle and uninhibited ‘party’ atmosphere. Anything and everything goes, shocking and stimulating. Motto: If it feels good, do it! A holiday at Hedo is not for those who shock easily, you can be as mild or as wild and exhibitionist as you like – it’s up to you.

Location

Hedo III, tucked away on Jamaica's beautiful North Coast, was opened in 1998. It is situated in 15 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens on the Eastern end of Runaway Bay, 1hr 20min from Montego Bay Airport and close to both Ocho Rios and Dunnes River Falls. All facilities are available to all residents, but swimwear must be worn where facilities are located on the prude side.

The Beach

A wide sweep of man-made beach is equipped with lounges and lilos plus an offshore pontoon.

Naturism at Hedonism

Hedonism III has two distinct areas - the nude and the prude. Both have accommodations, beach, pool, bar and sunbathing areas. Guests can remain naked within the nude area day and night. All of the restaurants and major entertainment takes place on the prude side where you will need to cover up.

Food & Drink

Dine buffet style in the constantly changing Tropical Terrace Restaurant - large, open-air main dining room serving creative Caribbean surprises and traditional favourites for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make reservations for a culinary adventure at Pastafari - a unique Italian 'RASTAurant' with a Jamaican accent and a magic touch with pasta. In addition, there are 2 beach grills, one located on the main beach and one on the nude beach. Sumptuous Japanese Teppanayaki style cuisine at Munasan where dining is an entertaining experience (open five nights a week). On the beach, the Reggae Cafe offers an authentic taste of Jamaica right on the ocean front. And when the clock strikes twelve it's time for the infamous midnight buffet! There are six bars, including a swim-up bar in the nude pool. International and local premium-brand spirits, tropical cocktails, wine, Red Stripe beer and, if you insist, even soft drinks are on tap for 19 hours day and night.
Try ‘Dirty Banana’ – crushed ice blended with half a banana, dark rum and coffee liqueur. Iced pina colada is available on the nude beach by self-service! There is also a soft drinks dispenser.

Facilities

There are three large freshwater pools - the main pool with swim up bar and fabulous 4-storey water slide, the quadrangle pool with its in-pool sun deck and swim-up bar and finally the nude pool at the water's edge. Both nude and prude sides have their own communal Jacuzzi.
In addition to steam rooms and saunas, embarking on a journey of exploration, The Spa offers and exotic range of personalised spa services (payable locally) including customised massages, couples massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, seaweed wraps, nailcare and pedicures.
A state of the art fitness centre boasts both Nautilus and Cybex equipment as well as a full range of free weights, aerobics studio, sauan and showers plus weekly special event activities.
In the disco, a see-through waterslide snakes through and on the deck you can look up through the base of the glass-bottom Jacuzzi.

Activities

All the following activities are free including tuition!

For land sports, choose from six floodlit tennis courts, volleyball, shuffleboard, basketball, badminton, and two air-conditioned squash courts. The fitness centre features Nautilus equipment, stationary bicycles, stair-climbing machine and free weights.
The games room has satellite TV, video games, pool and table tennis. There are bicycles, garden chess, a rock climbing wall, an ice skating rink, mini-golf, internet café and reggae dancing classes. Water sports include Sunfish sailboats, windsurfing, salt-water kayaks, snorkelling, scuba diving, water-skiing and glass-bottom boat rides. The dive shop offers equipment and tuition.

Entertainment

A great team of entertainers organise a super selection of sports and fun from volleyball and aerobics to wet tee shirt contests (without the T shirt!), rum punch and beer drinking games etc. Winners are rewarded with Hedo-Dollars which may be redeemed for prizes. Live entertainment in the evenings is also on the menu including Jamaican bands, performers and the infamous themed party nights – toga (sheets provided), pyjamas (as bare as you dare) and Reggae Beach (wet, wild and wilder). You can chill out in the air-conditioned piano bar and exercise your vocals with the lazer karaoke equipment or enjoy the classical interlude hour each evening. Hedonism III’s disco below the pool with the famous disco, with its see through waterslide is legendary and has a high tech sound system and its own long bar. It opens from 23:00 to 05:00 hrs. Bring the outfits which you bought at Cap d’Agde and which you dare not wear anywhere else!
