Location
One of the Leeward Islands, the beautiful island of Saint Martin is really two islands in one: Saint Martin belongs to the French West Indies and Sint Maarten to the Netherlands Antilles. The charm comes from mingling the French, Dutch and West Indian traditions, fine boutiques, duty-free shopping, 18-hole golf course, scrumptious dining and entertaining nightlife. With constant warm temperatures, the mean annual air temperature is 27°C (80°F), and cooled by the gentle trade wind, it’s perfect for holidays all year-round. Club Orient is located only 10km from both the French and Dutch capitals, Marigot and Philipsburg, and only minutes away from Grand Case, the gourmet capital of the Caribbean.
The Beach
The magnificent crescent shaped Orient Beach stretches around a spectacular turquoise bay at the base of Saint Martin’s most dramatic mountains. Protected by the only barrier reef in the eastern Caribbean, it is free from dangerous currents and is perfect for snorkelling, swimming and any kind of water sport you can imagine. The balmy trade winds from the east make it the ideal spot for windsurfing and sailing.
Naturism at Club Orient
Nudity is quite normal in all areas day or night though some people do put clothes on for dinner.
