Close to the beautiful historic town of Porec, Solaris naturist resort is a large, well established park, offering a good standard of accommodation and facilities. Rooms and apartments nestle among oak trees in the spacious grounds.
Location
Solaris Naturist Resort is situated on the Lanterna peninsula 12km north of the beautiful town of Porec. The settlements of Lanterna and Valamar Club Tamaris are within walking distance.
The Beach
Solaris has 2,500m of shoreline and has been awarded the European blue flag for cleanliness. This is a rocky coastline with natural pebble beaches and sunbathing platforms on the rocks or grassy shoreline. Some of the shore has been paved to provide easy access into the sea. Swimming sandals are recommended.
Naturism at Solaris Naturist Resort
Solaris operates as a full naturist resort. Guests can remain nude all day and night if they wish. However, as is the practice elsewhere, people tend to dress in the evening and are asked to dress to eat in the indoor restaurants and dining room. Outside, clothing is not required.
Food & Drink
Half board is provided in the air-conditioned dining room which offers self-service buffets for breakfast and dinner. There are themed dinners (local specialities) twice weekly from June-September. Free wine and soft drinks from dispensers are available at dinner. There’s also a restaurant by the pool and a pizzeria. In the open-air one may eat nude.
Facilities
The 24 hour reception has a cash machine and offers WiFi. Within the grounds are two supermarkets, a bakery, fruit and vegetable stall plus a newsagents. The pool is situated in the camping area of the resort. Terraces surrounding the fresh water pool are equipped with sunbeds and parasols which are available free of charge. Maro’s Club offers entertainment for children aged 4-12.
Activities
There is a sports centre with equipment for hire: deck chairs, bicycles, sailing, rowing and motor boats. There are opportunities for volleyball, badminton, mini-golf, boules, tennis, water-skiing, and windsurfing. At nearby (textile) Club Tamaris there’s a watersports centre offering waterskiing, paragliding, banana boat and bicycle rental.
Entertainment
The experienced animation team offer a full sport and recreational programme including morning gym, aqua aerobics, aerobics and craft classes (pay for material). There’s also an evening entertainment programme including dance music on the terrace from June.
