Meaning ‘Naturist Village’, Poblado Naturista is a collection of individual apartment complexes, each with its own distinct style and surrounded by well-kept gardens. All of the resorts boast a good range of facilities and all are located within 250m of the beach, with Vera Natura set directly on the seafront.

Resorts

Vera Natura has direct access to the beach and there is a large pool, an indoor pool, a children’s pool and play area and petanca (boules) court with football and volleyball on the beach. La Menara is built in a Moorish style with fountains, arched windows and doors and set in pleasant gardens with swimming pool and children’s pool and just 200m from the beach. Bahia de Vera is 300m from the beach and has well-kept gardens with a pool and children’s pool. There is also an indoor pool, small tennis court (bring your own bats and balls) and a children’s playground. Parque de Vera is 150m from the beach and has extensive gardens and sunbathing lawns and the swimming pool is floodlit at night. Torremar Natura is 250m from the beach and has a pool and children’s pool with sunbathing lawns and a kiddies’ corner as well as an indoor pool.

Location

Poblado Naturista is situated next to Vera Playa Club on the Costa Almeria at the northern tip of Andalucia, Spain’s most southerly province. The small town of Garrucha is just 5km along the coast and the inland town of Vera is 10km away.

The Beach

The sandy naturist beach is 1.6km long with direct access from Vera Natura.

Naturism at Poblado Naturista

Poblado Naturista is a collection of 5 different ‘urbanisations’. Nudity is permitted within the individual complexes at all times and also on the roadways to the beach in daylight hours. The naturist area ends just southwest of Torremar and Bahia de Vera.

Food & Drink

There is a snack bar/restaurant on the beach serving fast food as well as a la carte meals.

Facilities

Vera Natura has a large pool, an indoor pool, a children’s pool and play area and petanca (boules) court, service launderette and a reception desk with multilingual staff. There is a large well-stocked supermarket a ten minute walk away. Within 3km there is both a golf course with two 18-hole courses and a scuba-diving school. Further restaurants, supermarket and cash machines are in nearby Puerto Rey and Garrucha.

Entertainment

A bar with musical entertainment is situated near reception. The evening entertainment at the nearby Hotel Vera Playa is also open to casual visitors.
