There are limited local bus services from El Portus in the high season. Outside high season buses run from the neighbouring village of Galifa and a stop about a mile away between El Portus and Galifa. Car hire is recommended.
The Beach
This beautiful bay offers naturists a wide crescent of shingle beach and crystal clear, clean waters.
Naturism at El Portus
El Portus is a fully naturist resort so nudity is permitted around the clock. Nudity is obligatory on the beach and pool areas but guests are asked to dress in the restaurants. This is an area of naturist tradition and there are more than 10km of naturist beaches within 30km.
Food & Drink
Half board is available at a supplement and comprises a continental breakfast (served from 09:30) plus lunch or dinner (choice of 3 courses from the menu) with bread and water included but not other drinks. There are two restaurants; the winter restaurant on the hillside has great views and is also the home of the social club and bar, and the other is conveniently situated near the pool and beach. When the summer restaurant opens (usually mid June to mid September), the winter restaurant closes. Both restaurants offer a full carte including tapas, fresh local fish, meat and typical rice dishes of the area. Further afield there a number of restaurants in Cartagena and surrounding villages.

The smaller, covered winter pool on the hillside is open year-round 5 days a week (from 11.00 - 20.00 from mid June until mid September and from 11.00 - 17.00 during the other seasons). The cover is pulled back during the summer months. There are two restaurants and a high season beach bar. The resort also has a social club and bar where guests may play pool, borrow books and films or just watch TV and chat with friends. The small on-site spa (payable) has a fitness room, sauna, Jacuzzi and offers massage and beauty treatments. A well-stocked mini-market (closed Sundays until mid July and from end September) receives fresh deliveries daily and is sufficient for self catering requirements. For children there is a splash pool and playground. Reception, which is manned every day has a safety deposit facility and a night porter available when reception is closed.
