Hidden Beach Resort

This 5-star deluxe clothing optional (nude) resort has been built as a secluded hideaway in soft Mexican Hacienda style. Boasting just 42 ocean front suites in two-storey buildings and surrounded by exotic gardens full of flowering hibiscus it has the feeling of a luxury club; with a personalised check-in and a glass of champagne whilst your luggage is taken to your accommodation. A bottle of sparkling white wine awaits you in your room. The numerous and friendly staff create an atmosphere of further luxury.

Location

Hidden Beach is located on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico on the famous Riviera Maya, facing the warm Caribbean. It lies one hour south of downtown Cancun and the international airport and 25 minutes from Playa del Carmen.

The Beach

The fine white sand on the private man-made beach is kept spotlessly clean. This area is protected by breakwaters and the water is shallow. Full size mattresses suspended from a thatched roof line the beach and offer a unique and comfortable way to relax. There are several showers to wash off the sand from the beach before entering the pool area. Massage in the open air on the beach is available at an extra charge. There is a coral reef in front of the adjacent (textile) El Dorado Seaside Suites hotel which is lovely for snorkelling but bathing costumes will be required and we also recommend swimming footwear.

Naturism at Hidden Beach Resort

At Hidden Beach Resort guests can remain nude day and night if they wish. Many people dress for dinner in the evenings as they are also able to meander next door and use all of the facilities at the El Dorado Seaside Suites.

Food & Drink

The air-conditioned La Vista Restaurant serves gourmet meals à la carte and buffet style: full American breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks with fresh coffee and pastries, dinner and midnight gourmet bites. Most guests chose to eat on the outside terrace, of course au naturel. The C’est La Vie Bar is the social centre of the resort: it has a wet swim-up side with bar stools submerged in the swimming pool, as well as a dry side. The Moonlight Bar is open in the evening. All bars serve premium brand alcoholic drinks, exotic cocktails and fine house wines as well as soft drinks. Room service is available 24-hours.

Facilities

The free-form pool is so warm that many guests spend all day chatting in the ‘conversation end’ or sitting at the swim-up bar. Sunloungers and floating mattresses are plentiful. Between the pool and the beach there is also a giant hot tub where guests tend to finish the day. Beach towels are freely available on a self-service basis. Use of the fitness centre and the internet facilities is free. The adjoining textile El Dorado Seaside Suites are under the same management and offer all their facilities to the guests of Hidden Beach, including speciality restaurants, fitness centre, sauna and steam baths, land and watersports, tennis, kayaks, snorkelling, water polo, beach volleyball and ceramic painting, car rental and tours desks and a gift shop. There is an extra charge for spa treatments, laundry and dry cleaning, fax service and a shuttle service to the cosmopolitan town of Playa del Carmen, a 25-minute ride away. Just a few minutes away is the Puerto Aventuras Golf Club.

Activities

An entertainer organises a programme of daily activities and beach sports, including volleyball and introductory scuba diving lessons in the pool. There is table tennis, a pool table and a darts board plus the manager holds a weekly cocktail party.

There is a large theatre for evening entertainment in the adjoining textile El Dorado Seaside Suites open to guests of Hidden Beach.
